Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anyone else annoyed by the airbag warning labels on the sunvisors? I've peeled them off of other cars I've owned, but the ones on my '02 996 seem embedded into the material. Anyone have any luck in removing them? The ones on the back-side (with the vanity mirror) I could live with, but the flip side I have to look at all the time. Maybe it's just me that's bothered by these!!!

POST 2Original post

First mod I always do. Denatured alcohol. Followed by aerospace 303. Use rubber gloves. Dwell time is key.

Did mine also. .as stated above just let them soak. The ones on my A8 took forever but patience is the key.

POST 4Original post

Yep - did mine as one of the first mods. Just take your time.

POST 5Original post

Aren't those things like mattress tags? As soon as you take them off, the Feds show up.

POST 7Original post

You will find denatured alcohol in the hardware store over in the paint department.

POST 8Original post

Mine fell off completely. Need to get some Velcro or something and stick it back on. Not really annoyed by the label, never see it, dosent make the car slower, don't care.

POST 9Original post

Haven't tried it but did see this on Ebay yesterday. Porsche Sun visor Cover Ups decals 911 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-Sun-...fb46cf&vxp=mtr

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
