Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was wondering if anyone in the Raleigh, NC area has a Wind Deflector I can try/borrow for a day? I am curious to how well they work and am wondering if it is worth shelling out $250-$300 for one on ebay. Thanks

POST 2Original post

I am not in NC but I can assure you that the deflector works.......period.

POST 4Original post

Yep...works great and keeps the Mrs. Happy too.

POST 5Original post

I am in Greensboro. I purchased mine for $100.00 from a guy in California. I don't think he knew it's value. Keep looking and a deal may come your way. It is like night and day with the wind screen, so paying a little more for one is well worth it.

POST 6Original post

+1 Here's another vote for using the wind deflector. You may already know this, but there is also another little trick for even better wind buffeting protection. You can roll the rear quarter windows up if you push the switch on the windshield header where the convertible top latches into the header. I used my pinky finger to push the switch until I felt it "click". With all four windows up and the deflector, the cabin is pretty serene.

POST 7Original post

You most definitely need the deflector with the top down.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the input everyone, I guess not I need to be on the look out for a deal.
