Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

Once I craiglisted a Mercedes ML for $10,000 (I had driven it for 10 years and the thing had over 130K miles) - and I got a call from "Trudy" who would buy the car from me for $18,000 via check because that's the check amount she got from her Nigerian sister to buy her a car from the states, - but I'd have to pay her the difference in cash.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Turbo Cab This sounds too good to be true. Still, if anyone's in the market for a slightly used Turbo Cab with low miles, may be worth looking into. No affiliation with seller, just happen to be browsing...

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Too bad Larry already got his. This might be one of those deals where the mistress gets the cash after the car is paid off. Net to mistress = $5.00

POST 6Original post

The best part is this review, which can be found on that page: "Would I recommed this car to a friend? Only if he is hitting desparately on my wife. It would be stupid for anyone to spend 95K on a 997 or 997S. Not only do they look boring and stupid, but their engines are a disaster ready to happen..."

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It makes sense. 40104 (a palindrome) + $5 for the mistress. Payable to the owner, who resides in Nigeria, with a Wellsfargo moneyorder only.

POST 10Original post

So the picture is taken somewhere in CA or FL (look at vegetation and home architecture/roof in the background). The seller's phone number is 718 - somewhere in NY. Yes - a scam. I asked her "don't you want to test drive this thing"? Of course she said no. Then I said - ok deal - let's meet at 100 Washington Street, Hartford, CT. We can do the deal there. It's halfway between NY and Boston. She agrees. But of course I NEVER SHOWED UP. She calls me and says "where are you? I'm waiting" I said to her that I was inside the building and to come on in as I work there sometimes. She mutters : "wait - you're in the State Police HQ?" I said "yes" and she hung up and I never heard from her again. (BTW: 100 Washington St in CT is State Police HQ) The sad part is I wonder how many people actually fall for this sh*T and get scammed.

POST 11Original post

Yea! Just you guys wait! I sent cash in a plain brown envelope, and you will all be envious at the smokin deal !
