I use 17" rims, and I find the sidewalls to be a too compliant, with a lot of movement of the contact patch relative to the wheel being really quite apparent.

Suggestion
They are almost on par with the ECS I recommend just going to your local Discount tire if you have one.

Looking for new tires for my '04 C4S cab. Anyone with experience with these Falkens? I don't track the car, although I do like to play in the twisties. But I also value ride quality just as much if not more. Thanks in advance for your input.
My hankooks ventous evo in 19 work really good for spirited street driving and on my Jic/cross suspension is very road compliant

I had Hankook Evo's years ago when they made them in the OEM 18 inch sizes and thought they had rather twitchy handling when pushed. Looks like Hankook no longer makes them in the correct sizes anyway.
Tire Rack is where I saw the Falkens, and I'm considering them based on the reviews.
Really wish Michelin made the PS4's in the correct sizes. I have the predecessor PSS's on two other cars, and think those tires are an absolutely terrific blend of handling, dry grip, and ride comfort, all at the same time.

If you have 18" or bigger wheels then you may find the lower profile sidewalls to be less of a problem when it comes to allowing lateral movement of the contact poatch. Ride is very good, again a product of the soft sidewalls.
Martin I’ve had same issue with my hankooks I played with tire pressures and went 3 lbs over comfort level and the car literally transformed into a street carver

I have FK 510s on a non P car that I play with. I think they are good tire for the money. I went with Continental ECS (extreme contact sports) on my Boxster. They are almost on par with the ECS I recommend just going to your local Discount tire if you have one. They will price match if you find a cheaper advertised price too. Tirerack is also another great option and they support enthusiasts and forums. For a daily driver if you have the coin the Michelin 4S is going to be best. I abuse my tires though so I went with 510s.
I currently run them on my 996. I have them on my street wheels. I'm happy with them. Better performance and road noise than the Pirelli Pzero All Seasons they replaced.
