Gents, I�m struggling to to find new �original� 996 axles anywhere in the country, either Porsche or GKN. It seems Porsche may have updated to a new design that does not have a bleed hole in the end of the axle like the originals did, and after 6 hours of track time, both of these �new� axles failed. Does anyone know where I could get the original design/part number? thank you.

I've used car-part.com over the years for used OEM parts. It's a site for scrapyard listings, you can contact the various yards to see if they have anything available not shown online as well. Can't really help in the way of new OEM unfortunately.
