Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

By the end of the second day when you could have very clean laps, the tires had given up thr ghost.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Glad there were no mishaps specially with 4 year old hard R compounds. Had to call it early on sunday due to missing turn in on 3 turns as the front right was really, really shot (and almost no front brake pad left).
pretty good for 154k miles on the odo.
Enjoy the lap.
Anyone been able to customize the 'skin' on Harry's Lap Timer overlays? Almost too much information.

Jyo, nice to see your still tracking the bus. Looked like a great day, no traffic.... Would love to drive LS one day. Thanks for the post, we need more of these.
Nice video, I'll be out there this Friday.
I noticed you had the external Dual GPS taped to your dash. Are you also using GoPro to overlay w/Harry's Laptimer and a OBDII? I just bought all this stuff last week and playing around with it before the track day. What do you use for video stabilization>
I am using a Sony Actioncam for the video, tge goPoint for the bluetooth OBD II data, the bluetooth XGPS for location and use Harry's to combibe all three. No dtabilization needed as the video is rock solid due to my mount which is more than adequate for the tiny camera
Actually, i didnt have that many clean laps. Around 35 cars per session and for some reason, the PCA advanced group wasnt as fast as i expected, nor were they very proactive in giving a passing signal (given too late often creating some hairy circumstances). Their liberal passing zones were welcome in removing trains though. By the end of the second day when you could have very clean laps, the tires had given up thr ghost.
It was good to get out there on a track after a two year hiatus due to my being out if the US. I did sneak in a day at the 'ring last year but with a rental race BMW, but that is less serious an 'event.
Nice, I remember back when you out there with the Jetta (green, right?) back in the day. Or was that Sears Point? Been a long time since I've been back to either place.
Ok, black, it was a tossup between the colors in my mind. I had the green car then, '93 S4 (picture from Laguna but it did SP a couple of times). I remember Corey and Sharon as well, good times. I think it was right before you got the Audi, actually, maybe late '99. Sirota was there as well. But I could be getting my events all mixed up, getting old and the effects of sniffing too much 100octane along with Brian Bilotti's 5gallon jug of Toluene...
Nice pic of the gators.....I remember sweeping up oil dry due to the sheared oil pans on the corkscrew. I haven't seen Todd Serota at all in a long while. Last I heard, he got a GT2 instead of the 996 cab.
I see you upgraded from the Audi too
Yeah, just aim for the oak tree, amazing how many people got that wrong. There've been about 20 cars between the Audi and the Porsche and I love the Porsche but wish I'd held onto the S4. Full RS2 turbo and EM package with MTM chip, somewhere in the 380hp range, no biggie nowadays but huge for the time. Would have been perfect for where I am now. Replaced with a 95.5 S6 Avant which I don't have anymore either.
Glad to see you're still enjoying the C4S, don't see many yellow ones, but it works!
Jyo- I recognize your name from AW and QW- I am Swordfish
on both boards- longtime UrS and B5 S4 stg3
owner myself- geez- I haven't heard Brian B's name in many moons
but I remember his first 93 S4 he named Moses.
I miss my last one which was a monster! 95 S6 Avant with
a built AAN- GT Hybrid turbo- Pauter rods, VEMS standalone,
2Bennett coilovers, 996TT BBK- moved on to the RS6 as a DD
which is soon to be converted to a manual O1E gearbox.
Great video ! love Laguna Seca as I'm originally from
California. We'll be out there for Rennsport Reunion.
Cheers !
