Hi, I am having a lot of issues with my clamshell, I think I traced it down to a bracket being slightly bent so the clamshell won't close/open smoothly. However I can't find the part! First I thought it was the hinges but I replaced those. It looks like this: (Thanks to @frisbee91 for the pics and previous help) It connects the clamshell motor to the actual hinges. Many thanks!

I did some searching and it's interesting that you said you bought new hinges already and did not get a new version of this bracket. I'm looking at parts lists and I don't see it listed as a separate part, it looks like it is sold as part of the larger hinge assembly. It would be attached to part #6 of this page: http://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-p...section=811-13 Here is an example of the same hinge assembly for sale on ebay, with photos. I can see the part you need in this photo, underneath the flap. https://www.ebay.com/itm/28459660138...3ABFBMwt6Kk9pg (pic from ebay listing for 996 cabiro hinge used) It's interesting that on the parts list it is not on the page with the motor nor the page with the hinge which leads me to believe it is sold with the hinge...

Thanks! I bought a set of hinges from ebay but it didn't have the bracket. I will see of the ebay guy might have the bracket or sell it to me Also the brackets dont have partnumbers on them, I think almost all parts have parts number stamped/printed?
