Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
I would use the visegrip on the inside nut since you have room with the spacer there, and use a 6 point wrench on the lock nut or a deep 6 point socket if you don't have 6 point wrench.
Leading evidence: 'Use 6 point wrench' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use 6 point wrench' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I was going to suggest using a socket for the outer nut.

Unsuccessful attempt · Original poster
Success - I used Dremel to cut the outer nut (almost) half - didn't help.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As I'm trying to do some suspension work before I continue with my engine refreshment project is there some kind of a trick to loose that handbrake lock nut ? It doesn't move a bit.
Well, didn't help. Now the outside nut is almost rounded. Tried to a) keep inside nut in place while opening outside nut b) tried pushing opposite directions (inside to close and outside to open) c) both same directions (open).
Any creative ideas? Just wondering if that is somehow corroded. That location is a bit tricky to try some chemicals.
Doesn't look corroded. Are you sure you are turning the wrench in the right direction on the outer nut? Shouldn't be that tight. If it is getting rounded lock a pair of vise grips on the outer nut.

Yes.
Success - I used Dremel to cut the outer nut (almost) half - didn't help. After some thought process I managed to get a deep 13mm 1/4 inch socket there and then used as much power as possible in that tight area - after a few seconds I heard a "snap" and it was loose (snap either because the nut became loose or because it cracked open). It's a total mystery what was the problem there because all the surfaces seems to be clean.
