Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I know u pulled and inspected them but did u double check the top nut?
Leading evidence: 'Check top nut' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check top nut' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. I would check to ensure the preload was set correctly.

I also had Darin over at West End here in socal set height and dampening before doing an alignment.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hi all, a few months ago I swapped out the stock suspension for a set of Ohlins R&T along w/ Tarret GT sways and adjusters, and new oem mounts.
For whatever reason the rear struts seem to clink over road surface. Not necessarily over harsh bumps but as the suspension travels it sounds like the top washer is clinking on something. I had tightened the top mounts numerous times already, i also disassembled them and reassembled them according to the instructions. Aside from the clinking they perform great, not sure if this could be due to soft mounts but curious if anyone else had similar issues?
I reached out to Ohlins and they suggested taking it back to the shop, though I am the one who installed them. I am going to send it to a shop to have it looked over but just curious if anyone else had similar issues?
This thing looks loose! I'd go back and remove the strut and re-do it. The directions call for a specific amount of spring preload as well as torque when installing the top mounts. I would check to ensure the preload was set correctly. Did you follow the directions?
Yes it's installed to spec according to the manual supplied by Ohlins. I also had Darin over at West End here in socal set height and dampening before doing an alignment. Also to clarify in the video, there is no play between that top hat and the mount—these are fully torqued. That movement in the video is all coming from the mount.
Mine made noise because i didnt have the nut through the top mount tight. Its hard to get it torqued correctly without the stem retainer tool. I know u pulled and inspected them but did u double check the top nut?
