I have to shuttle the kids and get my son to daycare, so it would be great to have the ability to use the 996 as a backup
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Has anybody fit a rear facing child seat in their 996 Cab? I have a regular seat for my son in the back and would like to be able to get my daughter in the car as well. She's 8 months now. I'm not sure how possible it is though. I cannot fit them behind my seat, so would need to go the front seat with Porsche seat and deactivation bar route and have both kids on the passenger side. I am not looking for long drives, but more of a backup for if my wife's car or my main car have any issues. My wife is a teacher with a 40 mile drive to work and has to leave very early to get there on time (5am). If she has car issues, she would have to take mine, leaving me with just the 996. I have to shuttle the kids and get my son to daycare, so it would be great to have the ability to use the 996 as a backup
There are no child seat attachment points in these cars, but if your seat is compatible with seatbelt mounting then you should be able to have the rear-facing seat in the front seat.
Yes. I fit a rear facing infant seat in the back of my coupe. Have to move the passenger seat all the way forward and fairly upright. Not comfortable for an adult passenger but doable for short trips. I also removed the seat bottom cushion in the rear to afford better fit of the car seat.
I put an uppababy mesa into the back of my 911 C4S coupe. It was tight, required the passenger seat essentially all the way forward and not reclined at all - but it fit and was able to have a passenger sit in the front as well. Not something I'd recommend doing regularly.
