I did disconnect the battery for an hour to see if it would “reboot”.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I don't remember how or when but, I came across the cable in the picture and it was under one of the seats. Not ironically, the height adjustment doesn't work on the passenger seat. Is this the cable, albeit broken to adjust the seat height?

POST 2Original post

Yes, that would be the one. I need to do the same on my passenger seat. From what I understand, it's a quick fix. Remove four bolts holding seat....tip it back and replace. I purchased a new one for about $28 ( 99652160900).

POST 3Original post

The passenger seat on my 2001 just stopped working in all directions. In checking it out there was a Yeti mug jammed underneath the seat. I removed it but the seat still will not move. There is no motor sound when I move either switch. Do the switch knots come off? How? There’s also a plastic circle cover next to one of the switch’s, is that easy to remove and is anything exposed once removed? What about fuses, any idea as to which fuse it is? I did disconnect the battery for an hour to see if it would “reboot”. Nope! Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks, Jimmers
