Really ever since my EVOMS tune and intake was installed the car really doesn�t fire into life that hard.

Additionally, if I disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect it will fire as normal for the next few starts before it starts the soft starting again.

Hey guys. Really ever since my EVOMS tune and intake was installed the car really doesn�t fire into life that hard. It more stumbles into life. This only occurs if it�s been sitting for a while. If I recently drove it, it�ll fire normally. Additionally I have found that if it�s parked on a hill, it really struggles. It barely starts and will hunt at a super low idle for a few seconds. If I give it a bit of throttle it will normalize.
Additionally, if I disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect it will fire as normal for the next few starts before it starts the soft starting again. Any ideas are welcome.
I think its obvious..... remove the tune. Run the car with the stock program and try to replicate the issue. If it doesnt then u know its the tune, it it happens again then u have taken 1 of the unknowns out if the equation.
yeah I mean obviously I didn�t miss the connection with the tune. But the EVOMS tune is such a common tune on our cars I wouldn�t have thought there would be issues.
There Is nothing that is monitored that would throw a cel code for either of these issues. Maybe a misfire for a real bad injector, maybe?
Heat in both the pump and in the engine bay can cause issues in the fuel system and various sensors. Monitoring the data may be the only way to find the issue. There r previous threads on how well the fuel system must hold pressure while hot. An injector bleading down or a bad regulator may be not allowing the correct pressure. All a guess but u can rent fuel pressure testers at your local autoparts store so is a low cost diagnostic that u can do yourself.
