Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I could use a bit of help: Problem: PO of car installed Sparco racing buckets and sparco steering wheel. - Air bag code reported via Durametric 21, ignition circuit, driver 46, belt buckle, passenger 49, belt buckle, driver how do i clear these codes?? Thanks for the help, Derrick

POST 2Original post

Pull the factory buckles from some seats, wire them up and clear the code. Tuck buckle under the seat and forget about it. Not sure if there is another work around. Oh yea removal the factory seats most typical reason to have an airbag code

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok thanks, i will have to find some receptacles. any thoughts on the steering wheel??

POST 4Original post

there is a resistor u can put in line to fool the computer into thinking the airbag is still there. Do a search, as i remember reading a thread recently on the subject. There may also be a wire u can be tied together or a resistor trick for the seat belt too. I just never look into it.

POST 6Original post

Or a little piece of black electrical tape over the airbag light?

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah i like that idea.... Need to get an inspection sticker though.. Not sure how that flies with "THE MAN"
