Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Newbie on the site, car is a 2000 C2 Cab (Tip) 48k miles, that I have had 2 years. Color is L2A1 (Rain Forest Green Pearlcoat). Other mods are B&B headers and exhausts and the FabSpeed cold air ??? ($250 joke of a red pipe in a box) but hey it looks cool and it might be a tad smoother on accelleration. The Areo sides were on it when I bought it. Probs to date - expansion tank cracked (probably that way when I bought it) - ext warranty covered. Knock on wood - that's all so far. Just put the Precision Porsche Gt3 bumper on it. Looks as good as I had hoped. Bodyshop did not complain so I guess the fit was not bad. A little wavy in places but on par for a fibreglass product. I toiled between bumpers and it came down to 1. I liked the height on the gt3, should not scrape under normal stuff. I cna always get the lower lip for more aggressive. 2. IMHO, it seemed to fit the lines better than the Gt2. 3. the Turbo aftermarket for the pre-facelift cars looked funny to me. Since the new front end, I swear I can feel the extra downforce. Only ran about 50 miles on it so far. May be an illusion but I swear. I have had the small rear spoiler on for about 1.5 years and since then, have experienced a little wheel shake, but only on certain roads at certain speeds. Not sure that small rear could produce much lift in the front, but maybe? The last few rides with the new front end have produced zero shakes. Not scientific by any means, but this new bumper does catch a lot more air and direct it up. Hers and his *** convention - hhhhmmm, hers is bigger - mine is better :icon107. You can just see my daily driver on the left - an '01 sequoia - i luv that thing: Interior is pretty well worn but this pic did the best to hide it. Actually no clue why this pic gets waxed. Both image tools fail. Anyways, All Savannah, even the guages. Might get the center console, radio surround and key plate body colored just to break it up. Hopefully see you Dallas guys at Starbucks in the am! RB

RB - very nice, unusual color. GT3 bumper cover looks great!
