Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

A local used car dealer near me just put one on their lot, black with a black hard top and 17 inch turbo look wheels with ambers.

Its a really clean car, just not sure I want to keep it, so might sell based on Market feedback

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

HI All
Looking for some advice on where the market is for a 996 cab
I thinking about selling and buying something new - but seems like everything is trading at a 20% premium
Its kind of hard to gauge from all the Auction sites - so if anyone has any input Please let me know what I should or could expect
Its a 99 Dual Row IMS - No records of it being changed, and from what I understand these are a bit more "desirable" and less prone to blowing
60K miles
Clean Car Fax
I am the third owner, bought it right before the pandemic started in March
I just Put on brand new Pirelli Tires
Did an oil Change / service
Replaced the Hydraulics for the Top
Added a BT adaptor for Music Streaming and Phone connectivity
Custom Coco Mats
Painted the 18 Turbo Twits body color
* Fister type Hack on the OEM mufflers by a local muffler shop
ETC

Early 99 with ambers, love it!
A local used car dealer near me just put one on their lot, black with a black hard top and 17 inch turbo look wheels with ambers. Curious what their price is.
Nice color too, what is it? And did you add those little mud flaps in front of the rear wheels? Really looks mean!
is there a reason not to go with cars and bids over bat? Reserve listing cost seems lower so on paper seems like lower cost to test the market. OP: nice color.
I have no association with C&B or any online auction sites.
I've never liked the amber lights but they look great on this car. It's a really nice color combo. I don't think you'll have a problem getting a good price for it.
Being able to confirm you have the factory OEM dual row bearing will help you in the sell. Not knowing for sure is a negative. People will factor in 15% if the bearing has not been remedied. Personally, I don't buy the whole early mk1 cars are less susceptible to blowing up over the mk2. They are different engines (5 chain vs 3 chain, etc.), but overall still the M96 with many points of failure. The 3.4L had some unique failures (e.g. D chunk) that were unique to that engine and it's still a lokasil bored engine that is prone to cylinder bore scoring. You should consider getting an objective inspection and posting the details where ever you chose to sell it. Nice car, by the way.
Thanks for all the replies
I actually do like Doug DeMuro, but also think perhaps BAT would bring a better sale
the car is definitely unique especially with the ambers!
ill try to get some pics with the top up too
thanks for all the compliments guys
