Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The Porsche ad didn't say it was the perfect car for heading North to paint a sailboat, but it was close.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

23 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Picked it up last week - finally took some pics after going on a roadtrip. It's a bit dusty/dirty (but I still love black). Glad to have found the forum. Obligatory pics: Got up to paint the sailboat this week. Tooks some pics.

POST 2Original post

Congratulations on your '01. Give us a little more info on your car. Enjoy.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Picked up locally (I'm in Cambridge) with 117 kms on it. Black on Grey, 6-speed, 1/3 of an aero kit (original owner was in TN - is that common there?). I simply love driving this. It's a tank. It's light and precise. It's both. Just steering it around make me feel like a laser guided weapon. (Can you tell it's my first P-car?) It does match the boat insofar as the bottomsides were painted black. The rest of the hull is navy... Oh - the camera's the first generation of Canon's Digital Rebel. Just keeps on not dying, so no justification for a new one.

POST 9Original post

Congrats and welcome. Nice Porsche, and sailboat. Looks like you painted with anti-fouling paint. Great pics of both.

POST 12Original post

Sweet looking C4! I see no dust....... I like the TN comment........brother and sister marriage are common there too!

POST 13Original post

POST 19 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I appreciate the welcome. I figured pics better come first - though I could tell the flames were well meant. First up: Garage door targa button hack... Yes - the boat got the annual antifouling. Another forum may hear my tale of stupidity related to the boat batteries at launch time. The Porsche ad didn't say it was the perfect car for heading North to paint a sailboat, but it was close. My wife took the babysitter home in the coupe this weekend - barely smelled any clutch. Thanks for the welcome - this was a great forum for an avid buyer and fresh owner. I hope to be able to contribute in turn.

POST 23Original post

Great looking car (and the boat's not bad either)! Enjoy.
