Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Some concern with whether the window regulator ("frame") will need to be replaced, depending on how much glass is in it that can't be cleaned out by the body shop.
Leading evidence: 'Replace depending' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace bulb' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Certainly any door handle plastic parts will have to be replaced, probably seals was well.

Suggestion
Luckily it's pretty easy to take off, so I wouldn't bother with replacing the regulator or door handle switches.

Thinking i might as well replace the window actuator while it's all apart.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Have to remove the driver's door card to replace the broken driver's window, completely blown out and glass pieces fell down inside the door. Thinking i might as well replace the window actuator while it's all apart. The motors seem to last quite a while from what i can tell. Anyone have other "while you are in there" suggestions? Certainly any door handle plastic parts will have to be replaced, probably seals was well.
Thanks.
There's not a lot of "while you're in there" items behind the door card.
Luckily it's pretty easy to take off, so I wouldn't bother with replacing the regulator or door handle switches.
Just make sure broken trees are replaced, and if they don't tear the plastic and are careful with the seal, it is easily reusable.
Thanks, TexSquirrel.
From the pictures on PET it didn't look like much in there. Some concern with whether the window regulator ("frame") will need to be replaced, depending on how much glass is in it that can't be cleaned out by the body shop. That will be learned with the door card is removed.
Not sure what you mean by "broken trees", what part would that be? Part of the door latch mechanism?
I guess as long at the window drop-down is working fine the regulator can be reused if it can be cleaned up well.
The body shop is a top shelf shop so I'm sure they will be gentle.
The only while your in there I can think of would be if your window needs to be adjusted. If you have wind noise, the window has three adjustment points to make sure it makes a good seal around the gasket it rests against.
Since my window glass was totally blown out i now have quite a bit of wind noise
Hopefully the shop can adjust it properly, it's described in the Bentley manual so i think I'll take that with the car when they do the repairs.
Other while you're in there are door strap/stops. If it's noisy or makes any noise probably needs to be replaced. Also check if the light that points to the ignition works.
Not essential though.
