Gang I want to lower the 4S. But cannot do to much due to the stupid driveway at my house. What springs only drop the front .75 or 1.0 inch at the most??? Anyone have a set used laying around? Thoughts?

Try M030, these are the springs that are supplied with the european 996. In US, the Feds require the car height to be a little higher than the Euros. They are supposed to only lower the car to your specified height. Or you can try Bilstein Pss10s and adjust the height yourself.

I lowered mine with the X74 suspension. Also I don't think there is diff between ride height of C2/C4 or C4S in the US version. Below are the ride heights of the different Porsche suspensions.

tim try a 2 x 6 10 ft long at end of driveway. i had to do that to enter my garage after installing pss9s, loosing 1.5" of chassis height. JB

According to the attached chart, ROW springs only lower the front and then by less than one half of an inch. This doesn't seem to be very much of a difference at all. Does it make a noticeable real world difference? I could see where lowering the front may provide a little more front grip and make the car a bit more neutral.
