After a test drive I also check DME for over-revs/rev limiter, camshaft deviations, and fuel trims.

Hi Everyone, I am trying to create a checklist of items to go over while doing a regular oil change. Basically, if your 996 has NO particular symptoms, what to ask your Indy (or yourself) to check when you come in for your regular oil change: Open oil filter and check for metals and hard plastic Get DME report for camshaft variation Check AOS with the vacuum test Oil analysis sample What else?

On my cars, I always check lug nut/lug bolt torque since I have a torque wrench out anyways. On the 996, I check my torque seal for all the suspension bolts. So far I've never had one loosen. After a test drive I also check DME for over-revs/rev limiter, camshaft deviations, and fuel trims. I also check the AOS then too. Here's the checklist we use for client vehicles.
