Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I bought a 25" Samsonite roller bag as it was the biggest I found that fit in the frunk of my Targa and Boxster.

Ran the aux cable to iPod and we had it all the way back home vs.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

It worked great, I just quickly pulled the radio when I picked up the car, disconnected the three connectors, pulled the one apart and put the Yatour back in with the one connector that goes to the speakers so that the yellow, green and blue are all in there.
So for the drive back from Reno we will have:
Two Big Guys who are almost 50 (okay, we aren't that big)
Two computer bags stuffed with work stuff (and wifi card to post to Rennlist if we get in trouble)
One duffle bag
One roller bag that meets carry on requirements
I take it that all of that stuff will fit into the car pretty easily, correct?
FYI, I will be bringing my radio removal tools, pop out the radio and install a Becker radio interface with Bluetooth module so that we can stream music from our phones into the car. I put this system in my 968 that I bought a Porsche Traffic Pro radio for (same as the CDR or I hope) and bought another one for the 951, but have yet to put it in, so it's going into the 996 for now. The components are really small.
Here is part of the post from my radio install on my 968 (
https://rennlist.com/forums/924-931-...install.html):
Got the iPod/aux input/Bluetooth adaptor today. Ordered it from ebay about 10 days ago from a guy in China.
There is no wiring required, it's made for a Becker Radio, just plug it in to where the CD changer goes. Need to run the mic, and the little extra button is how you hang up and answer a call (also the same button on the Bluetooth module).
Going to be very nice, I will never have another car without Bluetooth, and there is NO WAY you can safely talk on the phone in a 968 6 speed without one.
I have very easily put a carry on in the frunk of a c2. Not sure about a C4 though. But either way it should fit in the back seat with them laid flat pretty easy.
The front trunk (frunk) in a 996, even the C4, is better shaped than the trunk in a 968. This is because the frunk is deep and it holds wheeled luggage better.
The back seat area in the 996 is about the same size as the 968, perhaps a bit larger
Let us know how your roadtrip goes!
I have been making a classic rookie mistake. I kept thinking why does everybody misspell "trunk" then it hit me "front" "trunk" ...."frunk". You guys are hilarious!
Useless info for you, likely, but as my avatar pic shows, 16 x size-5 soccer ***** will fit but the spare tire has to be removed (C2). With spare, cut that space in half.
But the rear seat area is excellent for luggages of all shape, seats up or down.
You'll be fine!

I will be permanently mounting it and installing the Bluetooth ad-on maybe this weekend, I will take pictures and post a procedure, but I've had it my 968.....it's awesome. About $140 for the parts and you can have an aux input, Bluetooth input (like Pandora) and hands free calling. Stay tuned for the procedure.

Back to the frunk discussion: I can confirm that a TSA approved carry-on bag will fit in the frunk of a C4S. It fits like it was designed specifically for the car!
