I run 285/35/18 with no issues at all...and I'm lowered on pss10

Why wouldn't you buy 285/30-18 in the Sumi since it is available and is the recommended factory size?

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have 285 / 30 / 18's currently on a c2 cab. Can I use 35's or will the extra circumference cause a rubbing issue? I'm not going to modify anything else. My search showed that when moving to 285's it is typical to drop to 30's like I currently have. Thanks in advance.
I'll let you know shortly. Previous owner installed aftermarket wheels and the 265/35/18's are too narrow. Purchasing 285/35/18's in a week or two. Sumitomo HR III"s.

Any interest in a 3500 mile (90% highway from a trip to CA from CO last summer) set - 285/30-18 rears and 225/40-18 fronts? Still mounted but would be happy to dismount and ship if the price is right...
What year is the car?
Per Porsche TSB the Mark I's can run 285's but need the fender rolled.
Mark II's can run 285's without modification.
The 285/30's are the porsche recommended size. I am guessing (and this is just a guess) it will work with the 2002+
I have a MK I but I run the five spoke MK II wheels in the recommended size of 285/30. I need a new rear wheel and there is a set for sale that has 285/35's already on them. So that's why I'm wanting to know if they'll fit. If they won't I have nothing to gain by buying a set with tires on them that won't fit or will require rolling or trimming.
Shouldn't be an issue. 315/30/18 fits the rear of my 40AE with stock suspension.
It's the front that's tough, 245 or 255 will fit if you can get really short tires like 30's.
^^That MKI aero looks amazing. Wish my ride height was like that
