I have replaced the battery three times over the past month with the same result where the remote battery will be dead within a day (I know - the definition of insanity - whatever).

After replacing the battery the remote will work for about a day until the battery dies again.

Suggestion

So, unfortunately, you may have to buy another remote top and have your dealer program it again, unless you have a 2nd key that you can use instead, in which case you can use the damaged key as an emergency/valet key instead.
