Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello fellow Porschephiles - would anyone be able to recommend a body shop for the NY-tri-state area? I had an unfortunate incident with my garage door on Friday, will need a new bumper cover, drivers side fender and hood. I live in North NJ but am willing to drive if its a good shop. Thanks!!!

POST 2Original post

Venture Auto body in Freeport, NY (Long Island) did a spectacular job on my car after the driver side was shredded by a Mack Truck.

POST 3Original post

I used Deerwood Autobody in Milford, NJ. The owners Name is Demetri. He did a superb job on my 02 Cab when I was sideswiped by an inattentive driver. Matched the paint perfectly. Heres his email address. I hope Im allowed to post this. [email removed]

Finish Line Collision.......simply the best!......Valley stream.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Great thanks for the suggestions, will start calling around

POST 6Original post

I had paint correction on my 2003 Carrera Aero for road rash and some micro size chips. Orient Red Metallic. I had the Porsche dealership in Syracuse, NY do it. They have one of the largest body shops in Central New York with 4 or 5 state of the art paint booths. It was not cheap, but worth it attached is video of picking it up when finished. You Tube

POST 7Original post

An extremely reputable detailer once told me that the only two places he'd trust his car to were Final Touch (West NY) and C&D Auto Body (Hackensack). I went to C&D and they seemed like people who do things the right way. I asked whether they would use an OEM or aftermarket bumper cover and I could tell by the face he made that it was a silly question.
