Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I did the led light upgrade and went looking for instructions to remove my 2002 Porsche 996 C4 dome light. There are a number of notes out there that were very helpful, but the one part that left me confused was the locking mechanism on the front of the dome light assembly. So, here are the Porsche dome removal notes and a picture of the dome light assembly. You can insert a small screw driver up into the front (windshield side) of the dome light assembly to depress the two points and it easily slides out. I hope this makes this relatively simple task easier for the next person. By the way - the led light package really puts out a lot more light, so it was a nice upgrade.

I did the LED upgrade and love it. That dome light took me a while to take out. I kept wondering if I was breaking something. I was happy to have it out without breaking. Good job on showing the clips
I picked up the Suncoast LED kit. If I hadn't installed it already, I could get some part #'s for you

talk about overpriced! Its just interior lightbulbs. My kit works great and also I have a ton of extras.
I bought
this 15 piece kit from eBay
last year. It was $14 when I bought t. Everything worked great.
Ok guys I'm having a really difficult time plugging the dome light wires into the light itself, is there some secret trick or is just my hand eye coordination l. Very frustrating, any advice is appreciated
