Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Leading evidence: 'Check here' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check here' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Cleaning might help. But my experience is that it is only temporary solution for some problems.

If you dont know when was the last time your MAF was replaced it is a first step to do.

They reset back off only when the car is turned off.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

At least it solved my ABS/PSM lights flashing at pushing the throttle as you describe.
New development on our 99 996 C4. w/ 67k miles. When we accelerate quickly past about 4k rpm the PSM off light as well as the ABS lights come on. They reset back off only when the car is turned off. Any ideas or experience with this phenomena? What say you all knowing Porsche community? Frank [phone removed]
I have heard that a faulty MAF sensor will trigger the PSM/ABS lights. Maybe at that RPM level, the MAF sensor is sending a faulty signal. You can try to clean it with MAF sensor cleaner, but usually it needs to be replaced.
I didn't mention in original question but yes the check engine light is on and the Fault codes are as follows 1130, 1133, 1126, and 1128. I am taking it in next week for those but If I can eliminate any of the problems before I want to.
Thoughts ????

Cleaning might help. But my experience is that it is only temporary solution for some problems. Consider the MAF as one of the most critical sensors of the engine.
I tend to to replace it every 25k miles. Regular checks show that they slowly degrade. The ECU can compensate a bit but eventually you get out of the sweet spot of operation.
I would start there. It is not the big $ investment. Certainly if the sensor is already at age. It will bring back a lot of lost bhp!
At least it solved my ABS/PSM lights flashing at pushing the throttle as you describe. Allthough I did not get those particular fault code combination.
Thank you SILK! I agree and ordering part as soon as I can determine which BOSCH MAF sensor I need. Apparently I have to figure out if my car has the E-gas or not. 99 Carrea 4 Cabriolet. Currently it has part # ending in 009 now which indicates yes on the E-gas but that might be part of the problem? Maybe the 007 is the correct part.... This Porsche ownership stuff is not for the casual owner. LOL
