Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Searched the forum for an answer, maybe you can help me. My turn signals on my 04 C2 are amber and it shows in the daylight. Wanting to get the silvered lamps to do away with the orange background glow. Any of you guys can direct me in the right direction? Thanks so much.

POST 3Original post

Personally, I would get the led versions and be done with it. They will most likely last the life of the car and never have to worry about them again.

POST 4Original post

I just picked these up - price was right, and they are genuine OEM parts made by Hella. http://www.new-part.com/product/pors...FceVfgodIlEAJQ

POST 5Original post

they probably still have amber lamps (bulbs) inside the OP was referring to silvered lamps that look clear, but light up amber

POST 6Original post

I have always pulled out the bulb and gave them a lite dusting of silver paint and put them back in. They still blink Amber but are silver in color when not lit up. Easy solution.

Now that looks good. Do you have a link to where I can order? Were they difficult to install? I'm wanting to change to get rid of the amber glow I see at day light. I'm guessing the amber reflection is that of the lamp and no orange tinting in the fixture? Do you remember? Thanks!

POST 11Original post

POST 12Original post

ebay item no. 280709475309 I've searched everywhere....these are the only guys i've found that has em...i've ordered a few different sets and never had an issue...not cheap for a pair of bulbs though

POST 13Original post

as you can see the bulb is silver so no amber reflection when the signal is off. If you know how to remove the headlight housing, installation is a piece of cake. You can't screw up
