Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just got these in the mail and put them on today. I had been looking for replacements for the latches but came across these OEM silver covers that covered most of the scratching (unfortunately mine were little more scratched than others). They aren't perfect but definitely an option to clean up and prevent future scratching...
They shipped really fast. Here is the link. http://www.niinedesign.com/Hood-and-Trunk-Release-Lever-Protector-fits-996-Boxster-986-Lev-996-986.htm
I got set last year and put them on. They're inexpensive, easy to install and they actually give an extra ! (at least they did in my case). That being said, they still scratch/tear very easily as well...good quick fix, but certainly not permanent by any means. I think they levers would be better off left black. Better yet, how about real cast aluminum? Seems it would be a rather simple casting...
Yea mine came with an extra too which I also thought was cool. I did notice that they will tear if scuffed hard enough but I figured it would buy me some time until I find another solution. Replacing them is always an option but I want to have something to prevent it. Nothing worse than opening the door and the first thing you see is scuffed door molds and pieces lol. Real cast aluminum is definitely a good thought...
I agree... There are definitely things that should of been done differently to start with on the interior but every time I take off down the road I forget about all the small things lol
