Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I posted this in the 996 Turbo section but just realized that my amp came out of as 99 Cab so probably going to get more replies here. Hey everyone, Curious where I can get a blue OEM amplifier harness like in the picture below. My connector is green, and even after I modified the grooves to fit the new amp, nothing works. If I hard wire the cables to the pins on the new amp, everything is fine. As soon as I use my green plug the amp turns on but no music. My only guess is my plug is not making proper connections to the pins on the new amp. Any one know where to only buy the below plug for a 996? If anyone has one laying around, I'd gladly buy it. harness.jpg

POST 2Original post

I think there is a special tool for putting pins in that connector. Not sure where you could get that. These threads might be useful for the connector: http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic.../?hl=amplifier http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...plifier-plugs/

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks. Just pulling on the pins pops then out easily actually. I have those websites memorized with the pin lay outs Just need the blue harness now from someone who upgraded their oem amp to aftermarket
