Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Installing the street performance kit on my '99 C2. The fronts did not come with a bump stop....the rears in the kit come with the stops.... and it does not look like those from the factory fit. Looking for guidance before I wrap this project up. Any help here is appreciated, thanks, Mike

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That's what I like to hear...thank you

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

McFist.....Is the photo pretty accurate for the right ride height? Slightly lowered for steet use?

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

looking for abut an inch or so

POST 6Original post

I have the fronts set to just about as high as they'll go, which works out to about an inch. Obviously, YMMV and you can adjust to taste. Here's what my ride height looks like: Before: After:

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took about 4 adjustments and most of the morning , but using the factory specified reference points finally got my ride height set at 127mm front and 133 mm rear. Took it for a machine alignment and caster and toe were all within spec but as expected could not get factory spec camber. (-2.2 rears and -.6 fronts actual vs. -1.0 and 0.0 factory spec). I suppose if I raise the ride height a bit I might get closer , but I'll see how tire wear responds to this set up

Keep in mind you can move the front camber plates a bit. Many aligners ignore this; I just helped a buddy of mine take out 2' of camber on the front this way. Might be worth a shot. Also - slight negative camber is usually preferred. i'm about -1.2 front and -2 rear.

POST 9Original post

I've got mine about as high as they go and it's about an inch drop.
