Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I am guessing you replaced both because it was time to do so.
Leading evidence: 'Replace because it was time' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Fill mod' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. Suggestion
I would offer the mounts to someone planning to do the urethane fill mod.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just replaced both my starter and engine mounts. Both were relatively simple thanks to some great online instructions here and Pelican.
When I bought both they didn't require a core. Does anyone want them or should I just throw them away?
The starter is probably rebuildable/repairable, depending on what failed. I would offer the mounts to someone planning to do the urethane fill mod. Depending on the medium used (i.e. Flexane), it takes days to cure properly & someone may appreciate the chance to save that down time. Regardless, it's good that you thought of others and asked!
Yeah the parts are worthless to me as they no longer work but I know in some cases a core is needed to purchase or rebuild either one so I thought I'd ask the crew here.
If no one is interested I'll take them to the dump next weekend.
In 1996, I rebuilt the front suspension of a C3 'Vette. I offered the uncleaned, un-degreased front coil springs on eBay for $10. Someone bought them. They also paid $20 for the shipping.
You never know who wants your garbage.
Definitely sell the starter.
I would think the value of the starter motor would be largely dependent on whether it had sealed or open seals on the bearings and whether it had steel or ceramic *****.
Not sure. It's a Bosch starter that looks exactly like the one that went in. Didn't take it apart or anything so don't know.
The good news in all of this is that with the new starter and motor mounts my car feels great! Starts so quickly and the motor mounts really added a level of smoothness to the engine. Real happy with the work that I did. And the fact that it took me less time to get it all done than I thought it would is an added bonus as well.
