A potential customer asked us how can we possibly make this small size of rotor in two piece but not other company. It is due to our center mount design (unlike traditional surface mount) that can set the mounting tab below the disc surface. Here is the illustration showing you how. This center mount design also allow the cooling air to be admitted from both inboard and outboard, keep the rotor running at lower temperature (~150F lower).
