Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

1st time Porsche owner, new to site. Is there a factory navigation system available (perhaps from a newer model) for my 2002 Turbo car? If not could someone recommend a quality direct replacement? Thank you, Darrick

POST 2Original post

Factory is kinds weak Go to car audio innovations (I think is cai-store.com) That will give you ideas - you can go to apple car play fairly cheap - and in 2017 Porsche is going to upgrade to this

POST 4Original post

It seems to me that Porsche often gave little thought to car audio until the 991.2 since it has Apple car or whatever it is called (I am a droid guy. I don't believe you have a MOST system so your upgrade is a whole lot simpler than my 'o4 would be. I have been looking as well.

POST 5Original post

Porsche doesn't make it easy to install the audio system or navigation system from current cars into older cars. Anything is possible if you want to spend the money, but adding a newer Porsche system to an older car would be extremely expensive. I upgraded the system in my 2002 C4S with aftermarket equipment. I went with a Kenwood head unit, Focal speakers and a Focal 4-channel amp. It was also expensive, but it offered much more functionality than Porsche OE systems.

POST 6Original post

There is a thread on the forum regarding the installation of an iPad mini in the dash. You get Nav and audio pretty easily. Lang
