Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
Far easier to clean than the ones on my car(see attachment).....I like the gunmetal colors as well but alloy always seem to stay in style.

I keep going back and forth on whether to run black or alloy and which style compliments the car the most.

Are they known to run on the light or heavier side?

The last set (#4) looks super clean and not too fussy.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am having such a difficult time deciding on this for myself... I keep going back and forth on whether to run black or alloy and which style compliments the car the most. Looking for some honest opinions thanks guys!
Here are some pics of my car along with with some options I'm looking to go with... I am set on 19's. Daily driver not tracking so mainly for looks.
The two stock photos are my car by the way.
That is what I had been thinking but then I saw them on a 996 in Taken 3 and thought they looked good... May need to look again. Thanks for the reply by the way
The alloy look is definitely cleaner... It's crazy how dramatic of a difference rims can make especially on this car. Literally can "make" or "break" the overall appearance...
The last set (#4) looks super clean and not too fussy. They'd be great in a silver or anthracite on a black car. Not a huge fan of black wheels on black cars. A bit gangsta for my taste.
The last set look classy in my opinion. Far easier to clean than the ones on my car(see attachment).....I like the gunmetal colors as well but alloy always seem to stay in style.
Well....they're a little heavier. But for a street car, not enough to make a difference - I've tracked (DE) with those wheels. And my girlfriend has a set of those 20s on a 991.....lowered a little.... looks good.... very classy.
I didn't want to insult anybody's taste but--
I'M SO GLAD SOMEONE FINALLY SAID EXACTLY WHAT I WAS THINKING!!!
Black rims... you may as well put some ghetto spinners on... seriously
Exactly but it says it will produce neck snapping results and you will be able to get a lot of pu$$y with it. Thinking of trading the guy both my BBS RS-GT's AND my Champion RG5 for them.
Btw, black rims and matte paint jobs came from the ghetto made popular by the wrong peeps. Just like Urban Outfitters clothing store...
Just posting some "super ghetto" Porsche's. Really a "what not to do" post when it comes to wheels. Would look the same, if not better with chrome spinners! Then again... I have black wheels... and my car is vinyl wrapped... pretty much as "ghetto" as can be! :P
Yuck. Might as well be spinners!
My black BBS CHRs. My Jeep has Black wheels too. DOUBLE GROSS.
Ghetto. :P
Is your car lowered already??
When you add new wheels its going to accentuate the gap. I might recommend going the other way first, you might be happy with the wheels/rubber you've already got
that seems to be the consensus, never been on 19's and have no plans too
if your set on 19's, the Fuchs look awesome
personally I'm a 5 spoke fan and have Techarts, but if some extra money
showed up, I'd investigate these
yes, I know its a Turbo

I disagree.
On my 3rd 996 and upgraded from 18 to 19 happily.
The quality of the road surfaces...frost heaves vs smooth blacktop and the type of tires and age of suspension all play a part.
