Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Just used Montway to ship the Sterling I sold on BaT down to Boca Raton.

I used these guys twice, first in '13 to haul my new Chevy Silverado from IA to me in CT, then again in '15 to haul my new-to-me Cayenne Turbo from NM to CT.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

In order to factor costs of obtaining my next baby, I need to get a couple transport quotes. Besides google, I really have no idea where to start. Any recvomendations?
The father of the year Rubik (member on this forum) who sold his Porsche to make his sons cry has a brother that owns a transport company. Maybe you can look him up and send a PM to get in contact.
I used these guys twice, first in '13 to haul my new Chevy Silverado from IA to me in CT, then again in '15 to haul my new-to-me Cayenne Turbo from NM to CT. The Porsche was in an enclosed trailer. Very happy both times around and would use them again. Very reasonably priced.

**Edit** I will add, when they dropped off my Cayenne, there were two 911s, a Lotus and a classic MB. So they are obviously used to hauling high-line vehicles.
I have had two cars transported and can only make judgment from those experiences. First time I tried to save money and hired cheap. Delivery was late, driver unreachable and truck broke down about a mile from my house(no biggie, but still). Second time went with Intercity. Paid a little more but they delivered slightly ahead of schedule and the driver stayed in communication with me the whole time. Well worth a few more dollars for peace of mind in my opinion....
Just used Montway to ship the Sterling I sold on BaT down to Boca Raton. I used them to ship it to KC from Tampa when I bought it 2 1/2 years ago. Both trips under $700. Customer service was very good.
I have a 993 inbound from CA as we speak. Went with intercity. Great communication, the driver was a total pro. They even made sure I was ok loading at night or in the rain before hand.
Got a modest Rennlist discount too. Give em a call and they'll quote you a rate immediately.
My buddy just used these guys to ship his Tesla from NJ to AZ. I met the driver for him and drove the car to his house. Fully enclosed carrier. Driver was great to deal with and the company called me the next day for feedback.

Sorry, no idea on cost.
Had these guys transport a 1977 911 from Colorado to LA about a month ago. Picked up on the day I requested and delivered without a mark on it 3 days later.

So I guess the question should be, "are there any shippers that anyone would not recommend?" Lol. Seems like lots of safe options based on the responses.
I just used Thomas Sunday Transportation...
saw their Ad in the PCA magazine
they were the lowest quote I got.... $1407 from OKC to LV in enclosed trailer
they stayed in touch and handled the car with car
