Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Anyone in the Northern climates drive their C4 in winter. I want to but not in salty wet conditions. Would like to keep it alive for winter. 26 here and light flurries. 1-3 tomorrow so wont be out in that.
I use my 2002 C4S daily including winters
Have so for the last 4 years
We get tough winters
It's currently -24C, but it can get to -35c on a regular basis
Plenty of snow and they sometimes use salt on the roads
Lots of fun in winter
Especially with dedicated winter tires
No issues
It goes anywhere anytime
I take it skiing to so no issues in the mountains and in deep snow

I drive my C2 in the winter, but not when roads are salty. I have three sets of mounted tires, summer, all-season and snows. Snows go on in early January. I like short spins in moderate snow. I don't like sand trucks.
I drive my turbo all winter... Best heater of any car I have. It's warm almost instantly and with the alcantara seats, comfy in the cold.
However, if we get more that 3" of snow, it go to the Focus ST...
I drove my C2 all last winter in MN. I got a set of Blizzak WS-80's and they were amazing. Pretty much the only thing that would slow me down was if the snow was deep because the car sits low.
My toys get put away for the winter and I drive the Land Rover. My rationale for not driving my toys until Spring is this: Driving any car "not when roads are salty" only works if salt has never been applied to the road. In many northern climes, once salt is applied it's there all winter until Spring rains wash it away. Even when roads are dry, there's salt dust which gets everywhere in, under and around you car........i.e. in the places you cannot clean.
Just my $0.02 worth. Sort of a digression on driving a C4 in the winter. Drive 'em if you've got 'em.
I guess I'm in the rare camp that would drive my cars in ANY weather. Mine have always been primary daily drivers.
Example: The left lane of highway 55 was not plowed one year, and had maybe 6" of snow on it. The trucks and SUVs driving 40mph on the Interstate in the right lane must have been either shocked or disappointed by me when I passed them in the left lane in my Boxster! Needless to say, with the right tires, these cars are very capable!
