After re-upholstering the seats, door panels and replacing the worn floor mats, it should hopefully cure it for good.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Figured I'd show my face. And after finally taking some new pics this is one of the few places I can post them without looking like a douche. LOL.
Was in the market for a Honda S2000 when I came upon this deal on a 1999 C2 Cab. Paid $14,500 with 97k on the clock. Full records and in overall good shape. Interior needs some attention. Seats and stearing wheel worn, and a door panel leather delam issue. Possibly a transmission bearing issue in the future. But for the money I still think I stole it. And I used to be an F/A-18 fighter jet mechanic. Very few things I can't fix myself which will help in reducing Porsche ownership costs. At least on the labor end.
Anyway... I'm sure I'll be here asking questions in the future regardless.
Previous owner was a smoker and smoked in the car. Just trying to mask the disgusting stale smoke smell a little. Give me credit for not hanging it on the mirror at least. LOL.
Just leaving the windows down and/or top down while in the garage over the last 3 weeks has already helped considerably. After re-upholstering the seats, door panels and replacing the worn floor mats, it should hopefully cure it for good.
What's the big sin with having an airfreshner anyway? Just curious. Or is an inside joke.
That is just their noobie welcoming manners (lack of?)
Nice car- can't believe you only paid 14K.
