Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

$100 shipping to US address included. I take paypal. Used for 20k miles. In excellent condition. Selling because I've switched to stock 997 shifter. Trully plug-and-play. You don't destroy the bushings of your stock shift tower. You just replace your whole stock shifter/tower with this unit. IMG_1014 (Large).JPG IMG_1015 (Large).JPG IMG_1016 (Large).JPG

POST 9Original post

I got one of these from Mooty.... same one that is on a GT3.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for the overwhelming interest! I must have priced it too low I think I paid $300+ just for the shifter itself from Sunset. Someone even asked if there's anything wrong with it. Definitely not! I sell it to clean up my garage. Tim is the winner and I'll ship it out tomorrow.

POST 11Original post

What else in your garage I can't wait. I have been wanting to put one in but just haven't spent the $$. It will have a good home

What brand is this shifter? How much did you pay for it and where did you buy it?

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Quotes source post: 13287160

It's the Porsche short shifter for 996 (just the shifter w/o the tower. The photos show it's already installed in my stock shift tower) and I got it for about $300 from Sunset Porsche.

Don't think Mr U realized he opened a 5+ year old post.

POST 15Original post

Mr. U just replaced it, and was wondering if it was worthy of selling. I still don't know the actual manufacturer of the shifter.

POST 16Original post

B&M is the manufacturer of that particular shifter (factory 996 SSK) the 997 SSK I believe was made in-house but I could be wrong about that
