Not sure I can take apart the rears to get to those parts for re-use (at least I had no luck with the fronts).

Tried to disassemble the fronts to use those pieces, but, had no luck with my skill and patience level!

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Finished the fronts this weekend (new B8s, H&Rs, control arms, tie rod ends, etc) and want to tackle the rear next weekend. I have the B8s and H&Rs, but need stop plates (4), compensating plates (2), ring (2) and washers (2). Not sure I can take apart the rears to get to those parts for re-use (at least I had no luck with the fronts). Anyone have any of these parts laying around? Will pay fair price plus shipping to OH. text @ [phone removed]. Thx, Larry

POST 2Original post

Where are you in OH? I'm in SE MI. I have the full rear strut assembly. I bought entirely new rear strut assembly when I replaced mine so the old one are still intact fully assembled. You can have them if you want. I saved them because I want to keep the original springs (just in case if I sell the car and new owner wants the original springs) but too lazy to dissemble to get the springs out.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Cleveland area… Thx for the offer, I was hoping to find parts already disassembled. Tried to disassemble the fronts to use those pieces, but, had no luck with my skill and patience level!
