They currently go for $2k on eBay plus about $500 for labor to install at an indy shop I use, plus an alignment.

So my U.S. M030 shocks are "weak" and I get a little bouncy feeling over bumps. The verdict is to go with a PSS9 set up. I've seen some previous posts but I'm looking for more current info about group sales or other options to save some $. They currently go for $2k on eBay plus about $500 for labor to install at an indy shop I use, plus an alignment. So after all's said this could cost me upwards of $2800 after tax etc. Anyone know of a good source for these new or if these prices sound correct? Thanks in advance.

Google PSS9 996. Automotion usually has a good selection. Try Tirerack? Most are no longer carrying PSS9s.

Thanks. I'll check the usual suspects and see what comes up. I was hoping someone knew a guy who's friend once talked to guy that heard that there was a place that was next door to former shop that went out of business and was now selling off their old inventory... or something similar.

Just bought mine a few weeks ago from TireRack. $1,800. Really like them - ride is probably more plush than with my US stock suspension - but also steering feels better, stability is hugely improved at speed, and turn-in feels better. I dropped it 30mm F/R - so some of that s purely lower height, added camber, etc. $700 installed with 4 wheel alignment, etc...
