Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I thought I jacked something up, but measurements from the carrier suggests the engine is level, it's the tips that need adjusting...I never got around to it!

Not off hand, I run a plum line from both sides(measure the plum line both sides) of the motor plate and made sure the plate was level.

They can be adjusted so if you replaced both mounts just make sure the carrier looks level.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
Just replaced my engine mounts. Exhaust tips a little low and car seemed to be clunking over bumps more than it should.
I can honestly say that that was the best $140 I spent on engine mounts. It was a pretty easy DIY but even if you have your local garage do it you will not be sorry. Car even drives much nicer at 70mph as so much less engine vibration being transmitted to cabin.
Do share the link or source, the cheapest I could find the Rein brand one were $75 a piece.

Yup - my research returned the same results, I bought mine from autohausaz a couple weeks ago, same price. Every on Amazon was double the price or non-oem.
Here is the link folks... Price is $62.42, item is listed under the AVE0382P part number not the Porsche

Get them while they last. Thanks USNA1970

The tips are pretty close to being even. They can be adjusted so if you replaced both mounts just make sure the carrier looks level. If it is, then try to adjust tips.
I'm interested if anyone has or could take a measurement on a good pair of mounts? I was looking at mine today, and seems a good measurement could be taken from the underside of the chassis.
My tips were just barley sagging, I swapped out the motor mounts for the wevo's now the passenger side hangs lower than the drivers. I thought I jacked something up, but measurements from the carrier suggests the engine is level, it's the tips that need adjusting...I never got around to it!
Not off hand, I run a plum line from both sides(measure the plum line both sides) of the motor plate and made sure the plate was level. The engine measured perfectly level. The drivers side tip tucked up nice after the new mounts, the passenger side however is a tad lower. Not by much, but it drives me nuts. I just haven't got around to correcting it.
Thanks m3, maybe someone has taken a measurement. It would seem a measure engine carrier to chassis, would a more accurate way to measure wear on a mount.
This will be impressive if it plays out for me; the only issue I have shifting with 13yo engine mounts is near freezing temp warm up shifting. It just needs to be nursed while the car is warming.
Just ordered a set with some Xmas funds. Not sure if mine are sagging but know that they have never been replaced so at 12 years, guess its time (can't hurt).
I had new engine mounts plus FF trans mount insert a few weeks ago. Shifting is now beautifully smooth when warm, and the gear lever springs back to the centre much more readily than it used to. But it does still need gentle persuasion into gear when cold.
