Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I pre soaked seat with woolite spray and used the included brush attachment.

I had some leather touchup dye that I used in the past for a couple of small chips in the original dye and it never matched, even though my leather was "clean" (I thought).
Leading evidence: 'Use included brush attachment' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean " (i thought)' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I also used Lexol leather cleaner rather than Woolite, but the magic is in the steam because it works really well with Lexol also.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I keep a clean car, but I decided to use a bed bath and beyond gift card to buy a hand held steam cleaner. Holy cow, the amount of grime this thing pulled out was incredible. Basically if your seats are glossy they are dirty. Steam cleaner was $60 bucks and although intended for fabrics this thing is a must for detailing.
I pre soaked seat with woolite spray and used the included brush attachment. Just look at the diff!
Great work. We had some debate on what to do once they are clean. I am going to try 303 leather 3 in 1.

What an awesome idea. I bought one of those steamers for my wife -- never even thought about using it on leather. Mine is very clean also currently, but shiny.
How long did you leave it in each area? I've always been concerned about steam damaging the leather, but obviously it seems to be safe from your experience.
Steam gets very hot so if you dont have a brush attachment just rubber band a microfiber around nozzle and use it to gently scrub. I kept the steamer moving slowly being careful not to leave in one area for more than a few seconds.
just google car interior steaming on YouTube, thats how I discovered proper technique etc.
Thanks, I'll try it out. I think I'm going to try using Lexol leather cleaner first, instead of Woolite, then use Woolite if Lexol doesn't get the job done.
Did this last night. It's awesome. My steamer looks the same but doesn't have a brush, so I wrapped a microfiber around over it as suggested by OP. I also used Lexol leather cleaner rather than Woolite, but the magic is in the steam because it works really well with Lexol also. With the microfiber over the steam head, you need to be careful that the steam doesn't leak out and travel up the handle because it will burn you pretty fast.
My seats were super clean but shiny. Afterwards, they are even cleaner and no longer shiny. I had some leather touchup dye that I used in the past for a couple of small chips in the original dye and it never matched, even though my leather was "clean" (I thought). After steaming, I retouched those chips and another new one and now the color is now an exact match.
Thanks for sharing this tip -- definitely excellent and well worth the time.
