Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I also need to turn on the OBC and cruise control, so looks like the Durometric Pro is needed. Anyone able and willing to turn these on for me? My dealer wants almost 300 to do it and reset my airbag light.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

They don't know how to enable the cruise or on board computer. They've never done it before, And I'm unwilling to pay for their learning curve. time.

POST 6Original post

I know the Durametric Pro at $675 is expensive, but it is a one time expense, unlimited VIN's, and will do everything you want to do. Perhaps next time you will be the one to come to the aid of a fellow Porsche owner who needs something checked out or enabled. Maybe a share through your local PCA chapter as well.

POST 7Original post

Or you could buy the enthusiasts kit for $287 (US)

Durametric website says that the Pro version is necessary to enable the cruise control. The Enthusiasts version can enable the OBC and clear the airbag light. He wants to enable the cruise control as well.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

But also retrofitting OBC and cruise. Only PST 2, PIWIS and durametric pro can do that. thanks for looming, though.
