Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

New guy with a 996. I've gotten so much good info from this site that I thought it's about time to "join in" and convey some thanks. I really appreciate all the info on suspension options, results and experiences that are available on this site. The 996 forum regulars - guys that are contributors to MANY threads make this an awesome resource. If you have lurked, you know who these guys are. I recently purchased, and more recently installed, (yesterday) the RoW M030 Sport Suspension retrofit kit for my 1999 C4 daily driver...it has about 151,000 miles on it now. I had a chance to read through several threads on suspensions and eventually decided on this kit. Included were references to Gert at Carnewal with favorable commentary regarding pricing and service. After completing the install of the kit plus a few other parts Gert recommended, I wanted to post what a positive experience I had with Gert and Maureen. Not only did I get a great kit at a good price but Gert's depth of knowledge provided added value through recommendations for additional wear items to consider changing out (I did all of them)...and a few comments on what could be left in place. Great experience and I am super satisfied with the results. My old suspension was original equipment and had "sagged" so much...I think the car actually has more clearance with the slightly lower kit!
