That's what I did - I'm running a Tubi Style exhaust system on my C4S that I bought from someone with a C2.

To the OP, I highly recommend the NHP line sold by Maxspeed Performance - speak with Nello, he's the owner.

Hi all,
I'm having trouble finding exhaust options for the 4s model.
Is the exhaust different for the 4s than the standard Carrera and Carrera 4?
I'm looking for a muffler bypass system for the 4s if anyone knows of a place that sells one please let me know.

No, they're not the same. 996 C4S has different piping from the mufflers to the tips, a C2 exhaust will NOT fit a C4S without modification to the piping leading to the tips.

Just reuse the piping from the muffler to the tips then! That's what I did - I'm running a Tubi Style exhaust system on my C4S that I bought from someone with a C2.

I think the x pipe cats are better than the u pip cats. All the other brand exhaust mfg are hi priced and not better quality
There's two ways to do this. Sound or performance.
If you want better sound than simply modify your existing mufflers. Fister or Gundo.
If you want performance, that requires a complete system from headers to X-pipes to mufflers to tips.
I've had both on my C4S.
The performance option costs a lot of money for minimal gains but drops weight which leads to better track times.
The sound option costs hundreds for minimal gains and allows the car to sound the way it should have from the factory if you don't have PSE.
