Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

50 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

This is a new combo I've never seen before. Gotta wonder even if the exterior red color and interior Nephrite was special ordered from the factory. Someone officially toppled the usual McDonalds "I'm luvin it" theme. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Porsche-911-...m=152236437927

POST 4Original post

The listing says- Burnt Orange and Nephrite Green... and possible Miami Dolphins Club purchase. (scratches head)... Maybe some truth here cause... that would probably the only, ONLY way someone would purchase such a horrible car color combination on a Porsche.

POST 5Original post

There is a post few threads below this one...asking for someone to look at 996 in Henderson. I suspect this may be the titular car.

POST 6Original post

And yet it is the dash cover that I find the most disturbing in those pics...

That's just fugly...wow...must have seemed like a good idea at the time

POST 12Original post

Well worth the price if it has the extremely rare and highly desirable silver crest.

Hey! I've got a cassette holder in my car - #1 - it's got cassettes in it (all 4 slots) #2 - My tape deck works fine, and I still use it on occasion (just yesterday as a matter of fact). #3 - I also have/use the 6 CD changer #4 - Savanna Beige full leather...very tasteful! In other words, there's no correlation between poor taste/color combo's and the cassette holder

POST 18Original post

Quotes source post: 13602395

Please tell us one of those cassettes is NOT the Village People.

POST 19Original post

Quotes source post: 13602411

No, but they do include Abba and George Michael

POST 20Original post

Does anyone know where I can purchase that dash carpet?

POST 21Original post

Those are actually hand towels.

POST 22Original post

Yooz guyz is funnee! 1- Larry Carleton "on solid ground" and Jeff Beck "wired" 2 - Don Henly "End of the innocence" and Meatloaf "Bat out of hell" (I honestly don't remember making that one... ) 3 - Eric Johnson "ah via musicom" 4 - Peter Gabriel "Security" and Robert Fripp/Andy Summers "Bewitched"... No Boy George, no village people, no Abba or George Michael ... And, no I don't follow the "technology curve" rockon:

Quotes source post: 13602426

Don't you mean "Wham" technically? Thought George Michael solo albums started on cd's. You can tell I'm a fan. Lol.

POST 24Original post

Too many choices. Everyday I get in my car and then have to decide what I'm gonna listen too... 1. Stereo 2. XM/Sirius Sattelite 3. Stream music from my iPhone 4. Stream music from Pandora 5. Integrated iPod 6. CD 7. Porsche Concerto #997 in 6 Flat

POST 25Original post

Quotes source post: 13602731

I always go with #7 and the radio is for the passengers that don't like the sport exhaust sound. My darn wife found the button to turn it off. She was soooo happy! Oh well.

I find that if I listen too much to "Concerto in 6b" I start to suffer from RLS (Rennlist syndrome) which leads to nightmares about CEF... Wham bam thank you "them"...

POST 36Original post

I indeed was one asking for Rennfax for this car in Henderson and now I own the car brought back to here in Florida where it started its strange Porsche option voyney. I will be doing some fact checking to find WTF was the reasoning behind these paint and interior choices. It may be a Miami Dolphin history but I think it is more likely a University of Miami connection will try to figure that out. I love Paint to Sample cars and have owned a few over the years but got to admit this is the most unusual combination I have ever seen or owned. Looks good next to my Ocean Green Metallic 99 with same green interior as orange car. Wheels of Color!! Rich

POST 37Original post

I think Florida is the only place that this car makes sense. Congrats on the purchase! Two 996s? Is that the only 2 pcars you have or is there a stable of them?

POST 38Original post

Slakker those are the only two street 996s but if Cup Cars count I have 2 996 Cups. I am a fan of the model Rich

POST 39Original post

That answers the does Rich have too much money? question.

POST 40Original post

Now that's a collection I can respect. ! Just buy the Cayman and get it over with. You're going to be crankier than normal until you do. :P
