Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Took front bumper off to clean debris and noticed what look like brush strokes around the energy absorbers. Both sides have it. Was wondering if anybody familiar with body work would know if this is due to an accident.

POST 2Original post

Others will confirm but it looks like factory sealant, had my bumper off a few weeks ago and snapped some pics hard to tell but it looks similar to mine. If you're concerned check the frunk tub if it has kinks/wrinkles in it then it's accident damaged. I would bet it hasn't been

POST 4Original post

That sealant looks factory (I haven't had my bumper off in about a year or more, but I think I remember the same). The wear on the drivers side bumper shock absorber looks like it might have pushed in though. If you look at the passenger side you'll notice there is no wear on the plunger. Good luck

POST 5Original post

the fasteners look like they have been untouched since "birth"...so my guess is NO

POST 6Original post

if you think thats bad, you should see what a real wreck looks like

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
