Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just performed an oil change (3,000 miles, DT40) and replaced oil pressure sensor. When cutting open filter found 1 small (non-magnetic) flake (looks to be aluminum not plastic). Nothing on magnetic plug and oil very clean. Sent oil out to Blackstone for 1st analysis. One thing about this forum is you start to question everything (that's a good thing) Anything to be concerned about? PLEASE READ MY NEW THREAD "OH S--T, REALLY NEED HELP/ADVISE" The small flake above is nothing to what was found later. Thanks

Slakker Have seen your involvement on many threads and hope you can help. This tread started out as a small flake and has turned into a major headache. Please read my other thread that was published shortly after this one. Maybe you could reach out to others that know these engines well. https://rennlist.com/forums/996-foru...p-adsvice.html Thanks
