Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I run the 6GT3 rims on a narrow body 2002 Carerra coupe with the x74 suspension which is the factory sport suspension (10mm lower than the ROW m020).

Suspected cause

I don't have any factual information on the coupe versus cab difference, but I suspect the cab version has higher rear spring rates to accommodate the additional rearward weight from the folding roof assembly.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I just upgraded my 2002 C2 cab with GT3 wheels which fills the fender wheels more since they are wider than stock wheels. I want to upgrade my suspension to the ROW version which may lower car 20mm in front and 10mm in rear.does anyone think I will have clearance issues during sharp cornering? Also can someone explain the $200 difference between coupe vs. cab kit?? Thank you guys for your knowledge and help with this. Michael T.

I wouldn't anticipate any issues if everything else is stock. I run the 6GT3 rims on a narrow body 2002 Carerra coupe with the x74 suspension which is the factory sport suspension (10mm lower than the ROW m020). Side note, I did have rubbing when I had GT3 control arms with excessive shimming (PO track setup). I don't have any factual information on the coupe versus cab difference, but I suspect the cab version has higher rear spring rates to accommodate the additional rearward weight from the folding roof assembly. Gert at Carnewal can probably tell you for sure.

POST 3Original post

No. It will work fine. M030 isn't that low. Front caster will minimally be affected. Cab has more weight in the rear due to the top mechanism so requires different springs and shock valving.

POST 4Original post

M030 will not lower your car much. ROW, as I recall is on 10MM lower. I had M030 with 6GT3 wheels and went with PSS10s to get the ride height right. The ride of the M030 is good for street and much stiffer than stock. But you wont be happy with ride height and the lack of adjustment.
