Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Too bad the body is pre-drilled with mounting holes, as I will use magnets.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

This one needs a bit of work to be road-ready.
I'm very impressed with the accuracy. Too bad the body is pre-drilled with mounting holes, as I will use magnets.
This is very much old-school Tamiya. Lots of thick plastic parts.
Will have to coat these in plasti-dip to match mine
Much more affordable to build a 1/10 scale collection...
ohhh, I like. I've been looking at those on ebay too, I built those as a kid. Keep us posted on "the build", although won't it be RHD as its a Japanese model.
So headlight upgrade on the cards? Maybe a 997 conversion with LED rears.
I had the 911 version. Wore out tires so called the factory for replacements. Lady asked me if I wanted slicks or rain tires...just send me one pair of each-true story
Cool..........
Your thread inspired me to get one too, I went with the 1/24th scale Tamiya kit, like this one. Still need to buy the paint though!! Yours is metallic??
I had one 30 years ago. Wore out the tires-called the factory-sounded like a gravel-ly old voice woman ansewerd the customer service extension. I told her I wore out my OEM tires and needed a new set-with humor in her voice, she asked "Road tread, or slicks". Catching me off guard, I hesitated, and t hen said" please send me a set of,each" and she replied, you got em, and took my credit card and mailing information...
Nice! Yes, I went with the standard silver lexan paint from Tamiya. Several coats of silver, then backed it with white to make it a little brighter. Remember, for lexan R/C bodies you essentially apply the top coat first and then work backwards.
Now I need to figure out which chassis will fit under the 914GT shell. I think that for that one I will try to find something a bit more modern.
I bet they're out of stock by now! Oddly enough, the tread pattern on my tires are completely different front and rear. Not sure if they came that way originally, or if they got switched around between when the kit was new and when it wound up in my hands.
I worked for Siemens Medical,at the time, and cut out Siemens logos from my stationery, pasted them on the car, and drove it around the exhibit halls, past my competitors booths.
Super cool! Making me feel the need to finish up the 930 Turbo model I've been slowly building with my baby brother, though it will not look anywhere near that good when we're done lol
