Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

okay, so younpeob remember I ended up breaking the rear passenger window. So a new window came in the mail... I tried youtubing and googling it, but can't seem to find out to change it out. So does anyone know how to change out the window and keep everything waterproof? Thanks!

POST 2Original post

I would go to a shop that installs windshields. It was probably installed with a bead of sealant around the edge.

If it is harder to install than it is to remove, I would also suggest getting a professional to do it. Removing them was a bear, as they sit in a channel with a rubber gasket, that channel is riveted in, also the trim around it is a huge pain. I also could not find a DIY. Since I was parting out the car, I didn't care if I ruined anything since all I wanted was the windows. BTW, if you have not gotten a new window yet, I have both sides available for cheap.
